LiamSmithLaw is my own personal blog which focuses on the legal issues in sport. I’m a recent graduate from the University of Sheffield having completed a degree in Law and Criminology. I am currently a paralegal at Addleshaw Goddard where I work on range of litigation, corporate, commercial, real estate, finance and projects matters.
My interest in sports law began when reading through an EU Law textbook and finding the Jean-Marc Bosman case. Since then I have became actively involved in the sports law community. I am predominantly interested in regulatory, legal and governance issues across a wide range of sports.
I’m a lifelong Peterborough United supporter and can just about say I’ve seen it all both on and off the field. I’m also a keen cricket and tennis follower and have been known to have a blind loyalty to Andy Murray,
